IPad

iPads: Every student should have a school assigned iPad. Your iPad should be charged and ready for school every day. Students who do not have a school iPad should reach out to their school prior to the first day. Find more iPad resources on our website.

Common IPad Problems

Problem: iPad is not working, no email, etc.

Fix: Go to Global Protect App and select connect. This should fix the problem.

The Problem: If your iPad is sluggish, this may be due to running out-of-date software.

The fix: Run an update: updating the software to the newest version may fix some issues too.

Canvas

Canvas: Canvas is our new learning management system for grades 6-12. All students grades 6-12 will be logging onto Canvas to access their course materials.  Students will be expected to log onto Canvas daily to access assignments, online discussions, and assessments. Check email: Prior to the first day of school, students should check their school district email for updates and key information. Find instructions on how to set up student email on the iPad.

StudentVue

Accessing StudentVue for the first time follow these steps:

Start here: Install Self Service --> Allow-->Follow directions on screen --->select "allow while using app" ---> select Bend La Pine School--->Yes---> Already Activated---> firstnamdlastname--->password.
